This has led him to start Pareekh Consulting now. Senior Vice President, HFS Research (Industry Analyst)

Pareekh was the lead analyst for engineering services, IoT, and Industry 4.0. He established the global engineering services practice at HfS Research which covers mechanical engineering services, embedded engineering services, software product engineering services, PLM services, and Industry 4.0. He has authored 100+ industry-leading engineering services research reports, including HfS engineering services blueprints, HfS engineering services top 20, HfS engineering services quarterly trends, etc. His contributions made HFS Research as one of the leading analyst firm in engineering services space successfully competing against larger incumbents.

Strategic Planning Lead, Emerson Electric (Enterprise Buyer)

Pareekh gained the perspective of an outsourcing buyer as he led strategic planning, sales planning, product planning and R&D initiatives for the APAC region (15+ countries) of Emerson Network Power—a Fortune 100 manufacturing multinational whose APAC operations are based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He contributed to 20% CAGR growth over his tenure (highest among different Emerson Network Power's divisions in APAC). He successfully established differentiation Of Emerson in telecom market with research which changed the conversation from price to quality in a commodity market.

Outsourcing Advisor, Neo Group (Sourcing Advisor)

At neoIT, he was a key contributor on a number of sourcing advisory engagements with leading US and European clients, which spanned across the outsourcing lifecycle. Among customers he worked on outsourcing mandate are a US-based security engineering firm, a Norwegian Bank, a global CPG firm, a media firm, and a US-based gaming firm. He also produced neoIT’s seminal report on city competitiveness for outsourcing.

Software Engineering Lead, Geometric PLM (Service Provider)

He started his career as a software engineer with Geometric PLM, which gave him the service provider perspective. In Geometric, he was a key contributor in product development for two leading CAD ISVs.

He is regularly quoted in media on engineering services, IoT, and outsourcing trends. Some of the media publications he is quoted in include Harvard Business Review(HBR), NDTV, Times of India, Economic Times, Business Standard, Hindu, Business Line, Livemint, Financial Express, Rediff, Voice of America, and Business Insider.

Pareekh is a thought leader, having authored a variety of publications on topics related to outsourcing, engineering services, technology and regional competitiveness in outsourcing. He loves business fiction writing in his free time and has published a novel "Who is that lady?"

Pareekh received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore in 2004 and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi in 1997.

He is an Indian citizen and lives in Bangalore. He has lived in the past in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Pune and Delhi.
